Introducing the dynamic duo who founded an online community from opposite ends of the globe (who have yet to meet IRL). Proof that great things happen when you use social media for being social!

They’ve been running their own businesses while co-creating this business together — designed to support other entrepreneurs and remote workers from all over the world, Remote ID started in 2020 and has grown organically into the remote resource it is today.

  • Based in Virginia, works with clients across the world.

    Erin is a freelance writer and children’s book author. When she’s not crafting words, she enjoys exploring her local area and getting outside in nature.

  • Based between Australia and Canada, working with clients globally.

    Chels is an organic marketing strategist and UGC creator. When she’s not shooting content, designing websites, or building out social strategies she enjoys exploring new countries or heading off on road trips in Vanny Devito.

  • This directory is designed to be THE resource for anyone working remotely to hire, refer, and outsource to businesses they know and trust. Our Discord community is for experienced remote workers and business owners because, while our members have a range of skill levels, they are all able to offer support, guidance, and advice in their areas of expertise. We don’t let just anyone in for the benefit of our members.

  • You’re encouraged to join one or both – whatever you feel supports you and your business the most! Joining the directory will get more eyes on your business and joining the community allows you to network intimately with fellow remote workers and business owners.

  • This interactive directory is 100% remote and global! Erin lives in the US, Chels is based in Australia, and we have members all across the world (12 countries and counting!). Discord saves member chats, notifies you of tags or continued conversations, and converts event or scheduled coworking times into your set time zone.

  • Our pop-up events are hosted live on Discord, so you have a chance to network with everyone in the community and learn from each other. Events range from member mixers, guest speaker presentations, member-led events, co-working, and brainstorming sesh’s. Before each event, we create a poll in our Discord to find the best time for all members across time zones. Guest expert and member-led events are recorded and available for replay if you ever miss one!

  • Neither! Remote ID is a business directory and membership community hosted on Discord for remote workers and online business owners. Depending on your choice of membership, you’ll either have your business added to the directory, join our Discord for support, guidance, and pop-up events, or BOTH!

  • Due to the nature of this product, there are no refunds. There is also no guarantee your application to the directory will be accepted or that being on the directory or in our community will lead to work, sales, or new clients. We reserve the right to remove anyone from the directory and community if they don’t adhere to our community guidelines.
